The unregistered shareware release of a "resource ripper" (a tool for extracting embedded graphics, music, and the like from files) from 1998 which serves as a nice complement to Ripper V5.00 by J0nas . UI is in English. Documentation is provided in English and Italian. The publication date is a guess based on the modification dates of the files in the archive.

Uploaded at the request of the author, who wishes to remain anonymous. Isle of Insanity & Hope is the author's personal diary of the second month after her son's unexpected accidental overdose death by fentanyl and carfentanil. It is hoped that reading it may help, in some small way, others who are living through similar situations either a parent, drug user, or someone else close to the situation. It is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 Canada...

The unsupported level editor which Monolith released for Captain Claw via their FTP site. Downloaded from a 3rd-party HTTP mirror of an FTP site on 2018-06-28 when it was one of the only Google results not pointing to a dead FTP mirror site not archived by the Wayback Machine (and the only remaining English-language one).

DESCRIPTION -----------     The Registry Editor Extensions "extend" the Registry Editor included with Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.  A combo box is inserted into the Registry Editor which remembers the keys you have edited, and allows you to navigate back to them quickly.  Once you've tried it, you won't want to edit the registry any other way. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS -------------------     Windows 95 and its minimum system requirements      OR     Windows NT 4.0 and its...

This piece of freeware adds a "Registry" namespace to My Computer which, in addition to having a certain elegance to it, implements additional convenience features that regedit.exe does not. According to the README, it has been tested on the following platforms: Windows 95 OSR2 without Active Desktop Windows 98 Windows NT 4.0 Service Packs 3 and 4 without Active Desktop Windows 2000 It is licensed under freeware terms which, notably, allow reverse-engineering but disallow bundling...

Program Manager Icons lets you assign icons to all the group windows in the Windows 3.1 Program Manager. This helps to distinguish between the different groups and is much more fun than using the normal, boring icons. It also enhances Program Manager's exit dialog with options to restart or shut down the system.  To suppress the on-startup about dialog, make up a command-line argument of your choice (eg. /nopopup) and add it to the launcher entry. This program is released as...

Version 2.0 of the "MS Setup" installer toolkit for Windows 3.x. A 1.x version of this was originally included with floppy releases of the Windows 3.1 SDK for Microsoft C/C++, but it was omitted from the SDK included with the Visual C++ 1.5x releases that were bundled with Visual C++ 2.x and 4.x for legacy 16-bit support. According to the LEGAL.TXT license file inside the self-extractor, it is under freeware terms similar to many free icon packs, which make permission for modifying or...

A simple freeware properties page for folders which makes it easy to identify what's taking up space on your hard drive. While I couldn't find the system requirements, I know it works under Windows 98SE. The sort order can be changed from ascending alphabetical to descending by size using the "Options" menu-button.

A shareware floppy disk encountered in Canada in the early 1990s. If my suspicion is correct and the "3/93" at the end of the barcode is a production date, then this would be from March 1993.

A shareware floppy disk purchased in Barrie, Ontario, Canada in the early 1990s. The disk's shell has "Made in Canada" moulded into the back and 784114H1 printed onto it in black. I don't know enough about floppy disk supply chains in the early '90s to know whether it has any relevance.

This compilation disc, bundled with the book "CD-MOM: The Mother of all Windows Books CD Version", contains a wide selection of Windows 3.1 shareware, demos, drivers, icons, and other ephemera which are now very difficult to find online. One such example being version 1.3 of the hard-to-search-for shareware utility "Plug-ins for Program Manager" (A.K.A. Plugin or Plug-in) by David Mandell and Plannet Crafters, which retrofits Program Manager with features such as...
